Dispute Resolution Appraisals
James is a court approved expert appraiser who assists in conflicts such as divorce, IRS or Probate hearings, eminent domain, property tax, construction defects, and the like.
Divorces and other disputes often require a determination of fair market value for the real estate involved. And when the separation date differs from the date you order the appraisal, a retrospective appraisal is required. We are familiar with the procedures and requirements necessary to perform a retroactive appraisal with an effective date and Fair Market Value estimate matching the date of divorce. We provide appraisal reports that easily meet the requirements of the courts and various agencies.
The ethics provision within the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) binds us with confidentiality, ensuring the fullest degree of discretion.
